Our coaches are all life time martial artists. All 3 coaches grew up training in traditional karate, but as the sport of MMA became mainstream, they began training in every effective martial art. Now they have evolved their curriculum to be a blend of what works from traditional karate with modern kickboxing, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Coach Ellis and Eliza have received BJJ Brown belts under Coach John Piper. Coach Ellis and Eliza have spent the last 8 years training with UFC fighters, Division 1 Wrestlers, World Champion BJJ competitors from IBJJF Competitors to ADCC champions. They have tested what works and what doesn't work at the highest level and in self defense, and only teach what they truly believe in. Coach Don specializes in hand to hand combat and also received his Blue belt in BJJ. 

Our team loves this sport more than anything, and when you come to class you are being taught by a coach who would choose this job over anything else in the world. Our passion for the sport and helping people become the best version of themselves on and off the mat translates into fun, energetic, and engaging classes.
